The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Solchaga got free with Ermegildo Horado in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Isaac Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CAI NEUQUEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute Apolo Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Unax in the 23rd minute of play. Ermegildo Horado was a little too slow when Domenico Tellini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-1. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save CAI NEUQUEN from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Tellini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Solchaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Horado made a huge save. The supporters of All Boys booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. All Boys made a substitution. Carlos Soto replaced Tiburcio Bitxintxo. CAI NEUQUEN's Erasmo Gonchan was substituted for Romeo Elija.
