The supporters of ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Judas Verón made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Rios. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s zone, Silvio Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Rios came out of the goal and Silvio Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Abadia charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Abadia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Silvio Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 14th minute of play. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Rios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner. Blue Dolar went to the cornerflag to take it. Maximiano Delgado was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Fabio Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Abadia in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Belgrano de Pibasog. Blue Dolar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabio Rios. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Wilfredo Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Raggio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Judas Verón struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fabio Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. In the 38th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Judas Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Fabio Rios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Fabio Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s zone, Judas Verón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Rios came out of the goal and Judas Verón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Abaurre made the kick off in the second half. If Judas Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano de Pibasog's Timo Haydon was substituted for Blue Dolar. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Melquiades Henrico replaced Marcel Mavrodin. Victorino Perfecto hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Judas Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Judas Verón in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Silvio Abadia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabio Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fabio Rios was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Judas Verón capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Judas Verón really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Fabio Rios came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca. But to his dismay, Iulian Ilinca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Fabio Rios made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Iulian Ilinca sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustaquio Fortun took the corner. Belgrano de Pibasog's Eustaquio Fortun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Rios in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Belgrano de Pibasog's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
