Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franko Armani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Belgrano de Pibasog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blue Dolar in the 33rd minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Franko Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Judas Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franko Armani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Judas Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Franko Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Judas Verón.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell López Heredia to make the kick off. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by López Heredia in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 59th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Franko Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franko Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodelina FC's Lucas Erruz was substituted for Cristinel Buzoianu. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Teodelina FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Franko Armani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Judas Verón took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franko Armani. Franko Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Timo Haydon replaced Blue Dolar. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Baladi in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Silvano Baladi lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Bernardo Raggio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Savinov in the 88th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Baladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bernardo Raggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
