In the 20th minute Herbert Pracki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emilio Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano LOS PIRATAS from getting a goal against them.
