In the 8th minute Adrianinho Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Nihat Yıldıray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho Gonçalves. In the 12th match minute, Estación Q. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Adrianinho Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Nihat Yıldıray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Estación Q.'s zone, Jorge Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Nihat Yıldıray came out of the goal and Jorge Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Nihat Yıldıray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 24th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Hector Abadia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Estación Q. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Yuan Yuan Hong hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Ivan Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Estación Q.'s Tadeo Lesardo was substituted for Paulinho Gonçalves. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Lesardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Estación Q.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Meirelles came free, but Arif Nihat Yıldıray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Estación Q. defense, Tomás Gaizko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Nihat Yıldıray. The Estación Q. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Nihat Yıldıray should have stopped the shot. Arif Nihat Yıldıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Gaizko in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Correla q va en Chancleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. Estación Q. made a substitution.
