In the 32nd minute Louie Sharpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Easingwold AFC booed when Bedlington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Snowdon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Louie Sharpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Easingwold AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louie Sharpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Seth Hay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Easingwold AFC and the Bedlington players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Easingwold AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Seth Hay hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Todd Beckwith made the kick off in the second half. Bedlington's Christian Snowdon got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, one of Bedlington:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bedlington. The referee gave Easingwold AFC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johnnie Brewer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bedlington's Brad Burgess. 1-0. In the 58th minute Garry Bates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Rodd Clifton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brad Burgess didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louie Sharpe went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 82 in the game by Todd Beckwith from a close distance when the talented Nicky Sawyer managed to make a qualified save. Easingwold AFC's players were relieved. Todd Beckwith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Sawyer having to interfere. Nicky Sawyer made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Todd Beckwith sent off a good shot on target. Brad Burgess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Sharpe in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Bedlington's goal looked a bit too open when Louie Sharpe came free, but Brad Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louie Sharpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Burgess having to interfere.
