Lee Gascoigne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Johnny Borrowdale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Lee Gascoigne made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Micheal Ricketts sent off a good shot on target. Borussia Teignmouth FC's Lee Gascoigne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Edison in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Perryman in the 28th minute of play forced Eston's goalkeeper Den Westwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micheal Ricketts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Sean Edison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Gascoigne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lee Gascoigne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micheal Ricketts in the 33rd minute. Den Westwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Les Perryman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Les Perryman made a kick off. Les Perryman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Den Westwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deon Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Eston's goal looked a bit too open when Les Perryman came free, but Den Westwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lee Gascoigne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lee Gascoigne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Borrowdale in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Micheal Ricketts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lee Gascoigne. Borussia Teignmouth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micheal Ricketts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5.
