The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Des Lomas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wally Leighton's late challenge caught a AC MILAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. AC MILAN were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Erith City to leave the ground with a draw.
