Neston's Sebastien Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Neston from getting a goal against them. Sebastien Dimmock made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alex Morgan sent off a good shot on target. Sid Hardy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastien Dimmock having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Neston's goalkeeper Sebastien Dimmock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Morgan. After a rather tough play, Neston's Bill Pamplin got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Ethan Earnshaw shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastien Dimmock showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Morgan in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastien Dimmock, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastien Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Hardy, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Alex Morgan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Erith City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Morgan couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Morgan could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Sebastien Dimmock however easily saved by the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Matt Baird was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neston's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erith City the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Neston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Baird to maneuver through the defense. During the 47th minute of the match Matt Baird completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matt Baird a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Erith City booed when Neston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt Baird didn't get a good kick on the ball.

A collision led to Erith City getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Junior Foggarty hit a great ball. Sid Hardy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Erith City's Sid Hardy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastien Dimmock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Alex Morgan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Isaac Kent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neston and the Erith City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Isaac Kent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isaac Kent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes of play, Erith City's Sid Hardy made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastien Dimmock was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Junior Foggarty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Sid Hardy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erith City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Hardy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Morgan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastien Dimmock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erith City's attack was well implemented in the 91st minute, but when Alex Morgan was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Sebastien Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Hardy in the 93rd minute of play.
