CJ Lydiate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Patrick Shephard made a precise shot to the right of CJ Lydiate. manchester united's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Marlon Lister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, manchester united's Dylon Grigg got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Rising Bridge AFC booed when manchester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvester Basham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Shephard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. CJ Lydiate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Lydiate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Day, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute, Fred Day left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rising Bridge AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zackary Bradfield to make the kick off. Trevor Archer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon Lister in the 57th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Patrick Shephard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Dylon Grigg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marlon Lister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 minutes, Zackary Bradfield made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rising Bridge AFC's Trevor Archer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Mick Chegwyn suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zackary Bradfield during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes manchester united got a freekick which was hit by Zackary Bradfield. Rising Bridge AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
