Spectators: 6976 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1976, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mike Fleetham kicked off to start the match. Teddy Mortimer kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Helsby's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Chapman came free, but Frankie Whitford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Fleetham did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Justin Lock 7 minutes into the match. When Helsby's Mike Fleetham in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOCA JUNIOR's goalie prevented a goal. BOCA JUNIOR's Justin Lock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Fleetham in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Helsby's Teddy Mortimer got a free kick in the 21st minute. Sean Langdon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Whitford having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, one of Helsby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for BOCA JUNIOR. Philip Shephard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frankie Whitford. 1-1. Curtis Chapman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Whitford having to interfere. Mike Fleetham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Lock having to interfere. Teddy Mortimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Lock having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curtis Chapman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mike Fleetham scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justin Lock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stephen Eyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Whitford having to interfere. Frankie Whitford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sean Langdon in the 63rd minute. Sean Langdon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Mike Fleetham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helsby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Fleetham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Fleetham in the 76th minute of play forced BOCA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Justin Lock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mike Fleetham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Lock was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, BOCA JUNIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Fleetham came free, but Justin Lock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandon Laycock in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justin Lock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Teddy Mortimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helsby's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
