After a defensive mix-up in Seating fc's zone, Eugenio Oliverio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zack Hallam came out of the goal and Eugenio Oliverio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Seating fc's Jason Rouse got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kristopher Osborn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kristopher Osborn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Hallam having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Kristopher Osborn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seating fc's Zack Hallam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Seating fc from getting a goal against them. Kristopher Osborn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Zack Hallam made a huge save. Kristopher Osborn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristopher Osborn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Hallam having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Eugenio Oliverio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skelmersdale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Oliverio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Kristopher Osborn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Dalton was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Carl Conway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Hallam having to interfere. Timothy Bowler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alfie Clarke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristopher Osborn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zack Hallam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Kristopher Osborn made a precise shot to the right of Zack Hallam. Seating fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eugenio Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Hallam having to interfere. Kristopher Osborn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Oliverio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zack Hallam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Skelmersdale AFC had played much better football throughout.
