Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 22) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daryl Baker got the match started through his kick off. If Gaz Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ash Wooding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leeds FC's Trey Kitchen in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walter's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd match minute, Walter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Hawke to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Trey Kitchen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Mayo was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Mattias Mayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trey Kitchen's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Leeds FC's Trey Kitchen got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trey Kitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mattias Mayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trey Kitchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Mayo having to interfere. If Gaz Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daryl Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Hawke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daryl Baker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Battersby having to interfere. Daryl Baker struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pierre Battersby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walter. Mattias Mayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Sherwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trey Kitchen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Trey Kitchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Mayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Mayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Kitchen in the 55th minute of play. Walter's Mattias Mayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trey Kitchen in the 59th minute of play. Mattias Mayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaz Lamb in the 62nd minute. Gaz Lamb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mattias Mayo made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Gaz Lamb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaz Lamb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gaz Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trey Kitchen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mattias Mayo came out and tried to block the shot, but Trey Kitchen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute, Greg Hales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ash Wooding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Battersby having to interfere. When Daryl Baker came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Walter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daryl Baker couldn't finish the play. Ash Wooding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Battersby having to interfere. Daryl Baker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Leeds FC defense, Daryl Baker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre Battersby. The Leeds FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre Battersby should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Ollie Sawyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
