A wasted opportunity for Midfielders. 21 minutes into the match, Fawards's goal looked a bit too open when Calum Dingle came free, but Rob Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Midfielders's zone, Jermaine Ellerby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Forrest came out of the goal and Jermaine Ellerby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rex Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Flynn in the 28th minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Midfielders's Alfie Walton made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rob Dimmock was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Midfielders's Edward Hopton got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Fawards's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Hopton came free, but Rob Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Rio Watkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Midfielders were awarded a corner. Alfie Walton went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alfie Walton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rob Dimmock quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute, Edward Hopton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midfielders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 66 minutes into the match, Midfielders's goal looked a bit too open when Toby Flynn came free, but Rex Forrest reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rex Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jermaine Ellerby in the 67th minute of the match.
