If Brett Slade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Brett Slade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 37th minute, Junior Ingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Henry King shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phillip Deveraux showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When BRIGADE 84's Alex László in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashton-in-Makerfield's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Alex László put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Phillip Deveraux.

Phillip Deveraux had great luck who in the 54thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alex László from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, BRIGADE 84's Henry King got a free kick in the 80th minute. With his leg Phillip Deveraux managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when BRIGADE 84's Brett Slade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Phillip Deveraux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex László's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
