Spectators: 10971 (Terracing: 8229, Seating: 2523, VIP seats: 219) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Calum Dingle made the kick off which started today's match. Rex Forrest stood somewhat misplaced when Kris Upson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. If Keiran Woodyat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris Upson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Rex Forrest skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Kris Upson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Midfielders's Rex Forrest was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kris Upson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Forrest. Rex Forrest dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Midfielders's Rex Forrest proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Midfielders from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Joseph Clifford dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rex Forrest, 3-0. The Dakar Olympique fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Dakar Olympique's Kris Upson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Rex Forrest managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Dakar Olympique's Kris Upson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dakar Olympique's Keiran Woodyat got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Midfielders's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Kris Upson scored to the left of an out of position Rex Forrest, making the score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Midfielders's Alistair Carpenter got a free kick in the 46th minute. Dakar Olympique's Geoff Vassell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Midfielders. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kris Upson to make the kick off. Rex Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Hislop in the 51st minute of the match. Rex Forrest stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Upson's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Upson in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rex Forrest prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the game, Dakar Olympique's Geoff Vassell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rex Forrest made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Rex Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Whittaker in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Upson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rex Forrest prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Keiran Woodyat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dakar Olympique fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Upson in the 66th minute of play forced Midfielders's goalkeeper Rex Forrest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rex Forrest stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Upson's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Dakar Olympique were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Midfielders's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geoff Vassell took the corner. Kris Upson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rex Forrest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dakar Olympique. In the 76th minute, Matty Dowrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Kris Upson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rex Forrest. Midfielders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kris Upson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. In the 81st match minute, Midfielders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Bullock to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Geoff Vassell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Forrest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Kris Upson sped through Midfielders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rex Forrest. If Lee Hislop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Hislop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Kris Upson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Midfielders's Rex Forrest was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dakar Olympique's Vágner de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calum Dingle in the 95th minute of play. Dakar Olympique's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
