Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jósteinn Gunnarsson kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Brynsteinn Flókason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 10 in the game by Brynsteinn Flókason from a close distance when the talented Markþór Hreinsson managed to make a qualified save. Spectra Húsavík's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, Brynsteinn Flókason notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Spectra Húsavík's Markþór Hreinsson. Markþór Hreinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brynsteinn Flókasons short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Markþór Hreinsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Spectra Húsavík's Markþór Hreinsson got control of the ball when Brynsteinn Flókason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brynsteinn Flókason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Markþór Hreinsson made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Jósteinn Gunnarsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markþór Hreinsson. Jósteinn Gunnarsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spectra Húsavík fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Snertill Hellu's Gerald Hálfdánsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Markþór Hreinsson. Friðberg Unnarsson took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samson Bergsson. Samson Bergsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Friðberg Unnarsson to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Jósteinn Gunnarsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spectra Húsavík's Markþór Hreinsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Markþór Hreinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jósteinn Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brynsteinn Flókason in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markþór Hreinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Hildimar Hallmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spectra Húsavík's Demus Rolfsson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sæmundur Benjamínsson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Demus Rolfsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samson Bergsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Friðberg Unnarsson in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samson Bergsson saved Snertill Hellu from getting behind. Markþór Hreinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jósteinn Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Jósteinn Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markþór Hreinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mars Nikulásarson fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snertill Hellu's protests and gave Mars Nikulásarson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Snertill Hellu's Mars Nikulásarson got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Snertill Hellu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Friðberg Unnarsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Markþór Hreinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brynsteinn Flókason in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Spectra Húsavík getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Valdemar Maríasson hit a great ball. Jósteinn Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markþór Hreinsson having to interfere. Snertill Hellu's Samson Bergsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Snertill Hellu from getting a goal against them. Demus Rolfsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Samson Bergsson made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Spectra Húsavík's goal looked a bit too open when Brynsteinn Flókason came free, but Markþór Hreinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hallmundur Falgeirsson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Snertill Hellu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
