If Hjörtur Eilífsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sírus Sveinlaugsson sped through JKS Jarosław's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hafni Sindrason. Samúel Larsson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Kolur Ísleifsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kolur Ísleifsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the JKS Jarosław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kolur Ísleifsson couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Meba Vík got a freekick which was hit by Embrek Ellertsson. With an all-out effort, Meba Vík's Hafni Sindrason threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sírus Sveinlaugsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 22nd minute, Addi Sigfastsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sírus Sveinlaugsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hafni Sindrason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steinar Vilhelmsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, Meba Vík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sæbergur Orrason to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kolur Ísleifsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. JKS Jarosław's supporters rose to their feet, but Kolur Ísleifsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Meba Vík's Samúel Larsson got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Meba Vík defense, Kolur Ísleifsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson. The Meba Vík fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson should have stopped the shot. If Hjörtur Eilífsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, JKS Jarosław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kolur Ísleifsson to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sírus Sveinlaugsson made a kick off. 62 minutes into the match, JKS Jarosław's goal looked a bit too open when Sírus Sveinlaugsson came free, but Hafni Sindrason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kolur Ísleifsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. JKS Jarosław's Hafni Sindrason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sírus Sveinlaugsson in the 69th minute of play. Hjörtur Eilífsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Hjörtur Eilífsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hafni Sindrason was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Hrafnar Ófeigsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hafni Sindrason. JKS Jarosław's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Meba Vík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sæbergur Orrason to maneuver through the defense. Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kolur Ísleifsson in the 84th minute of play. Kolur Ísleifsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kristleifur Gunnsteinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hjörtur Eilífsson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hafni Sindrason. Hafni Sindrason dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.
