In the 6th of the match, Hugo Sigfússon tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hafni Sindrason got in the way and made a wonderful save. A hard shot by Sæmundur Svavarsson from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Hafni Sindrason's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 20 played minutes JKS Jarosław got a freekick which was hit by Addi Sigfastsson. Hafni Sindrason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Sigfússon in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sólmundur Axelsson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of JKS Jarosław booed when Red Bull Iceland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sólmundur Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Kjartansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Hafni Sindrason made a huge save. In the 34thth minute of the game Kolur Ísleifsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Bull Iceland's Guttormur Egilsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Red Bull Iceland's goal looked a bit too open when Kolur Ísleifsson came free, but Guttormur Egilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Hugo Sigfússon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hafni Sindrason. Hugo Sigfússon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sólmundur Axelsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Iceland's Gilbert Kjartansson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Red Bull Iceland got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Kjartansson. Kolur Ísleifsson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Guttormur Egilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JKS Jarosław. Gilbert Kjartansson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Sigfússon was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, JKS Jarosław's Addi Sigfastsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Hafni Sindrason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Sigfússon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Steinar Vilhelmsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Guttormur Egilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kolur Ísleifsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Hugo Sigfússon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafni Sindrason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, JKS Jarosław's Kolur Ísleifsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guttormur Egilsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franklín Jósepsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafni Sindrason having to interfere. If Hugo Sigfússon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Sigfússon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red Bull Iceland's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
