Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Herbjörn Garpsson got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Team Machine's goalkeeper Viðar Ísólfsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbjörn Garpsson. Herbjörn Garpsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Viðar Ísólfsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute Herbjörn Garpsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viðar Ísólfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Eðvarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Manfred Marvinsson in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Viðar Ísólfsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Guðbjarnason in the 13th minute of play forced Léttir Höfn's goalkeeper Brandur Aronsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbjörn Garpsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Andreas Guðbjarnason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viðar Ísólfsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfred Marvinsson went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dufþakur Sindrason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, Team Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Guðbjarnason to maneuver through the defense. Skarphéðinn Theódórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viðar Ísólfsson having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Herbjörn Garpsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Machine's Viðar Ísólfsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Herbjörn Garpsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Viðar Ísólfsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Léttir Höfn's Dufþakur Sindrason got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentín Arnleifsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Dufþakur Sindrason came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Léttir Höfn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dufþakur Sindrason couldn't finish the play. Daggeir Skúlason kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Fenrir Eðvarsson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Léttir Höfn's protests and gave Fenrir Eðvarsson a yellow card for diving instead. Valentín Arnleifsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valentín Arnleifsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandur Aronsson having to interfere. Viðar Ísólfsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbjörn Garpsson's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Viðar Ísólfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dufþakur Sindrason in the 76th minute of play. Herbjörn Garpsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 83 minutes of play, Léttir Höfn's Herbjörn Garpsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viðar Ísólfsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbjörn Garpsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viðar Ísólfsson having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Manfred Marvinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Léttir Höfn's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Marvinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viðar Ísólfsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbjörn Garpsson in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viðar Ísólfsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herbjörn Garpsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viðar Ísólfsson having to interfere.
