Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hringur Snæbjörnsson in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tóbías Elísson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 played minutes Liverpool PUB FC got a freekick which was hit by Hauksteinn Hreinsson. A collision led to KE Hvolsvelli getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rikharð Ingvarsson hit a great ball. Hænir Níelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lórenz Játmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Bergmann Darrason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool PUB FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bergmann Darrason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Bergmann Darrason elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Hringur Snæbjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lórenz Játmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bergmann Darrason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rikharð Ingvarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hildigeir Svavarsson took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tóbías Elísson. Tóbías Elísson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hænir Níelsson got free with Lórenz Játmundsson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hringur Snæbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tóbías Elísson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Liverpool PUB FC got a freekick which was hit by Per Reynisson.

In the 54th minute, Hildigeir Svavarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tóbías Elísson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Hringur Snæbjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Hildigeir Svavarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Hildigeir Svavarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KE Hvolsvelli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hildigeir Svavarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hildigeir Svavarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. KE Hvolsvelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Hildigeir Svavarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tóbías Elísson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KE Hvolsvelli walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
