Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emanúel Finnsson got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Sófus Vífilsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dagur Skorrason was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 4th minute of the match Gnýr Ljótsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagur Skorrason skillfully saved the ball. Dagur Skorrason made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sófus Vífilsson in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Ölver Almarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frosti Þorkelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sófus Vífilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Rósmann Eiðsson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Númi Hrísey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rósmann Eiðsson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ölver Almarsson in the 18th minute of play forced Nepal Akureyri's goalkeeper Frosti Þorkelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ölver Almarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Frosti Þorkelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Númi Hrísey booed when Nepal Akureyri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Níls Sturluson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ormur Larsson hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Númi Hrísey's Reidar Guðbergsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nonni Darrason in the 40 minute of the game. Frosti Þorkelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ölver Almarsson in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ölver Almarsson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frosti Þorkelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ölver Almarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Ölver Almarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dagur Skorrason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Níls Sturluson in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Níls Sturluson in the 59th minute of play forced Númi Hrísey's goalkeeper Dagur Skorrason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Númi Hrísey's goal looked a bit too open when Emanúel Finnsson came free, but Dagur Skorrason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Númi Hrísey's Rósmann Eiðsson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ölver Almarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reidar Guðbergsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Nepal Akureyri's goalkeeper Frosti Þorkelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ölver Almarsson. Númi Hrísey played a much better game than Nepal Akureyri and deserved their victory. The Nepal Akureyri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
