Davíð Eyvindarson came out and tried to block the shot, but Engill Ægisson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. The Warmia Grajewo fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Warmia Grajewo's Engill Ægisson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 12 minutes into the match, Hamra Grenivík's goalkeeper Davíð Eyvindarson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márus Hallbjörnsson. Marcin Zdeb's late challenge caught a Hamra Grenivík's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcin Zdeb helped the player get up and apologised. Marcin Zdeb kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hamra Grenivík's Davíð Eyvindarson got control of the ball when Márus Hallbjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Þjóðólfur Heimisson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Davíð Eyvindarson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Márus Hallbjörnsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davíð Eyvindarson, 3-0. In the 25th minute, Warmia Grajewo's Engill Ægisson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Davíð Eyvindarson. Davíð Eyvindarson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Warmia Grajewo's Marcin Zdeb got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Engill Ægisson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Warmia Grajewo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Engill Ægisson couldn't finish the play. If Marcin Zdeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Engill Ægisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Davíð Eyvindarson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Sírnir Ólafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warmia Grajewo's Stig Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sírnir Finnbjörnsson in the 41st minute of play. Sigurdór Ingason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Gustavsson having to interfere. The supporters of Hamra Grenivík booed when Warmia Grajewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sírnir Ólafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Garpur Guðmarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Davíð Eyvindarson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Engill Ægisson in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Márus Hallbjörnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davíð Eyvindarson. Hamra Grenivík's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Márus Hallbjörnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Engill Ægisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davíð Eyvindarson having to interfere. Engill Ægisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Márus Hallbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davíð Eyvindarson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hamra Grenivík's Randver Unnarsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Davíð Eyvindarson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héðinn Ásmundsson in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Engill Ægisson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Davíð Eyvindarson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 minutes, Randver Unnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamra Grenivík and the Warmia Grajewo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Randver Unnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Hamra Grenivík's goal looked a bit too open when Engill Ægisson came free, but Davíð Eyvindarson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Engill Ægisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davíð Eyvindarson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
