Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakarías Kristbjörnsson to make the kick off. Mazur Wydminy's Nói Gregorsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Mazur Wydminy from getting a goal against them. Sigurleifur Ingólfsson charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigurleifur Ingólfsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Harka Þórshöfn got a freekick which was hit by Sigurleifur Ingólfsson. In the 93rd match minute, Harka Þórshöfn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigurleifur Ingólfsson to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Harka Þórshöfn's goal looked a bit too open when Úlfar Ragnarsson came free, but Arnbjörn Dagþórsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mazur Wydminy were victorious despite being under pressure from Harka Þórshöfn for much of the match.
