With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilberg Guðnason prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson in the 26th minute of play forced Norri Kjörvogi's goalkeeper Jónatan Svanbergsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haki Fjalarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jónatan Svanbergsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aage Óskarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jónatan Svanbergsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute.

Norri Kjörvogi's Jónatan Svanbergsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Norri Kjörvogi's zone, Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jónatan Svanbergsson came out of the goal and Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norri Kjörvogi's Jónatan Svanbergsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 minutes, Kolgrímur Sveinbjörnsson made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Norri Kjörvogi's Jónatan Svanbergsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Feró Djúpivogi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Norri Kjörvogi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
