Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vorm Svanbergsson kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Míra Flateyri's Vorm Svanbergsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jóhann Sólbergsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jóhann Sólbergsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vorm Svanbergsson in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Griffill got a freekick which was hit by Yrkill Svangeirsson. After a rather tough play, Míra Flateyri's Vorm Svanbergsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Griffill's Jóhann Sólbergsson got control of the ball when Elínór Björnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Griffill's Loki Dagþórsson in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Míra Flateyri's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 played minutes Griffill got a freekick which was hit by Loki Dagþórsson. Hljómur Elvarsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hallmar Hallgrímsson. Míra Flateyri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vorm Svanbergsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jóhann Sólbergsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Önundur Hamarsson's late challenge caught a Griffill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Önundur Hamarsson helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Griffill's Reynar Stefánsson tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Svangeir Bergmansson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Griffill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svangeir Bergmansson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Míra Flateyri's zone, Svangeir Bergmansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hallmar Hallgrímsson came out of the goal and Svangeir Bergmansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loki Dagþórsson in the 45th minute of play forced Míra Flateyri's goalkeeper Hallmar Hallgrímsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svangeir Bergmansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hallmar Hallgrímsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svangeir Bergmansson was the one to do the kick off. Jóhann Sólbergsson came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Míra Flateyri's Vorm Svanbergsson. But to his dismay, Vorm Svanbergsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 55th minute Vorm Svanbergsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jóhann Sólbergsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elínór Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Griffill's Sær Darrason got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jóhann Sólbergsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vorm Svanbergsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jóhann Sólbergsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vorm Svanbergsson in the 67th minute of play. Loki Dagþórsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hallmar Hallgrímsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svangeir Bergmansson in the 72nd minute of play forced Míra Flateyri's goalkeeper Hallmar Hallgrímsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Valbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jóhann Sólbergsson having to interfere. Jóhann Sólbergsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elínór Björnsson's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 77 minutes, Sær Darrason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Griffill and the Míra Flateyri players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Míra Flateyri booed when Griffill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sær Darrason didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Míra Flateyri getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sesil Hallbjörnsson hit a great ball. Svangeir Bergmansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hallmar Hallgrímsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hallmar Hallgrímsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loki Dagþórsson in the 92nd minute. Max Valbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jóhann Sólbergsson having to interfere. Míra Flateyri's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
