Spectators: 7846 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 150) Hartmann Arason started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Hartmann Arason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the game Sigtýr Garpsson made a throw-in which Loftur Arndórsson played forward. 10 minutes into the game, Sturlaugur Baldvinsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Flex Garði's Grímar Indriðason quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Haddur Guðmarsson made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Grímar Indriðason. Hartmann Arason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Geisli Magnþórsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geisli Magnþórsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikjáll Bogason, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Vörður Rolfsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franz Þórðarson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ívan Eyvindarson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Hartmann Arason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grabovoj FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hartmann Arason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geisli Magnþórsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hartmann Arason's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franz Þórðarson to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Flex Garði got a freekick which was hit by Vébjörn Oddbergsson. In the 59thth minute of the game Hartmann Arason who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flex Garði's Geisli Magnþórsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, Flex Garði was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loftur Arndórsson to maneuver through the defense. Grabovoj FC's Ívan Eyvindarson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Þórðarson in the 67th minute of play. Vörður Edgarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The Flex Garði fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Flex Garði's Franz Þórðarson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75th minute, Loftur Arndórsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grabovoj FC's Ívan Eyvindarson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vébjörn Oddbergsson in the 79th minute of play. Leonhard Eymundsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, one of Flex Garði:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Geisli Magnþórsson had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Vestmar Mattíasson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 83 minutes Flex Garði's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vestmar Mattíasson who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Flex Garði defense, Hartmann Arason kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geisli Magnþórsson. The Flex Garði fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geisli Magnþórsson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Loftur Arndórsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flex Garði's supporters rose to their feet, but Loftur Arndórsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ívan Eyvindarson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Flex Garði were victorious despite being under pressure from Grabovoj FC for much of the match.
