Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Steinröður Hansson made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Friður Daðason managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Sztorm Keflavik FC's Loki Jónasson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 54 played minutes Engey Reykholti got a freekick which was hit by Dónald Valgarðsson. After 73 played minutes Sztorm Keflavik FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Adolfsson. In the 80th minute Loki Jónasson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Kristmann Þorgerisson's late challenge caught a Sztorm Keflavik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristmann Þorgerisson helped the player get up and apologised. Sztorm Keflavik FC's Gústav Arnljótsson was substituted for Loki Jónasson.
