Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aríel Traustason kicked off to start the match. Völur Ólafsvík's Dómaldi Valsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinröður Hansson in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Loki Jónasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sztorm Keflavik FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loki Jónasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dómaldi Valsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dómaldi Valsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loki Jónasson in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Völur Ólafsvík getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Friðvin Valgeirsson hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Loki Jónasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dómaldi Valsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Sztorm Keflavik FC's corner Þorbjörn Guðjónsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dómaldi Valsson quite easily take care of the ball. If Loki Jónasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dómaldi Valsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loki Jónasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Loki Jónasson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dómaldi Valsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borgþór Georgsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dómaldi Valsson having to interfere. Dómaldi Valsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loki Jónasson in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Völur Ólafsvík's goal looked a bit too open when Loki Jónasson came free, but Dómaldi Valsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Steinröður Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sztorm Keflavik FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Steinröður Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dómaldi Valsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Steinröður Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dómaldi Valsson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Loki Jónasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steinröður Hansson charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steinröður Hansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Steinröður Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sztorm Keflavik FC's Loki Jónasson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Borgþór Georgsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Loki Jónasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dómaldi Valsson made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Völur Ólafsvík's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Borgþór Georgsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dómaldi Valsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loki Jónasson in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steinröður Hansson in the 56th minute of play forced Völur Ólafsvík's goalkeeper Dómaldi Valsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Loki Jónasson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Sztorm Keflavik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loki Jónasson couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Dómaldi Valsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dómaldi Valsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loki Jónasson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. When Borgþór Georgsson fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sztorm Keflavik FC's protests and gave Borgþór Georgsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Sztorm Keflavik FC got a freekick which was hit by Borgþór Georgsson. After 79 played minutes, Völur Ólafsvík's Kristjón Sævarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steinn Bjarmason came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Völur Ólafsvík reached it. A collision led to Sztorm Keflavik FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Loki Jónasson hit a great ball. Völur Ólafsvík's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Loki Jónasson scored to the left of an out of position Dómaldi Valsson, making the score, 0-3. Loki Jónasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dómaldi Valsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Borgþór Georgsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Sztorm Keflavik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steinröður Hansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Oliver Adolfsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Borgþór Georgsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Sztorm Keflavik FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Völur Ólafsvík.
