Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steinröður Hansson kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Hagbarður Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sztorm Keflavik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hagbarður Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Loki Jónasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Álfþór Kolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steinröður Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álfþór Kolsson came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Sztorm Keflavik FC's Steinröður Hansson. But to his dismay, Steinröður Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Heiðrekur Vilmarsson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Álfþór Kolsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sztorm Keflavik FC. Álfþór Kolsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loki Jónasson's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Loki Jónasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Loki Jónasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Habo Grindavík's Álfþór Kolsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Kristfinnur Sigþórsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Steinn Bjarmason was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Loki Jónasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute, Hagbarður Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Álfþór Kolsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hagbarður Hermansson scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álfþór Kolsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steinröður Hansson took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álfþór Kolsson. Álfþór Kolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loki Jónasson in the 40th minute of play forced Habo Grindavík's goalkeeper Álfþór Kolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Heiðrekur Vilmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álfþór Kolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loki Jónasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Loki Jónasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álfþór Kolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jónsteinn Baugsson to make the kick off. If Hagbarður Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Loki Jónasson made a precise shot to the right of Álfþór Kolsson. Habo Grindavík's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Habo Grindavík's zone, Loki Jónasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álfþór Kolsson came out of the goal and Loki Jónasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loki Jónasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Hagbarður Hermansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Álfþór Kolsson. Álfþór Kolsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After some careless play in the Habo Grindavík defense, Loki Jónasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álfþór Kolsson. The Habo Grindavík fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álfþór Kolsson should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Steinröður Hansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álfþór Kolsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loki Jónasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Loki Jónasson notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Habo Grindavík's Álfþór Kolsson. Álfþór Kolsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 played minutes Habo Grindavík got a freekick which was hit by Árni Benediktsson. Loki Jónasson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 77th playminute. Sztorm Keflavik FC's Játgeir Jóngeirsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Álfþór Kolsson but with some difficulty. Habo Grindavík's Álfþór Kolsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Habo Grindavík from getting a goal against them. Hagbarður Hermansson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 85 minutes in the game, Loki Jónasson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Álfþór Kolsson having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sztorm Keflavik FC defense, Jónsteinn Baugsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steinn Bjarmason. The Sztorm Keflavik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steinn Bjarmason should have stopped the shot. If Loki Jónasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steinröður Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loki Jónasson took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álfþór Kolsson. Álfþór Kolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10.
