Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guðbjartur Bergmansson kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rafverk's zone, Guðfinnur Oddsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson came out of the goal and Guðfinnur Oddsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 3rd match minute, Rafverk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Franklínsson to maneuver through the defense. Álfur Davíðsson charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Álfur Davíðsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Orlof Blönduósi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álfur Davíðsson to maneuver through the defense. If Jóndór Snæfinnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Rafverk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aðalmundur Bjarnason to maneuver through the defense. If Álfur Davíðsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 53rd minute, Guðfinnur Oddsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Guðfinnur Oddsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Rafverk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Franklínsson to maneuver through the defense. Guðfinnur Oddsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Álfur Davíðsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Valberg Marvinsson's late challenge caught a Orlof Blönduósi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valberg Marvinsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Rafverk got a freekick which was hit by Valberg Marvinsson. Orlof Blönduósi played a much better game than Rafverk and deserved their victory. The Rafverk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
