Jeraldo Cameno made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Hlöðver Orrason sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Emeryci booed when Grágás Vík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urðar Ingmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Vernharð Magnússon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grágás Vík were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Emeryci's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urðar Ingmarsson took the corner. The corner ended in Urðar Ingmarsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Emeryci's Ymir Leifsson did a great save. In the 14th minute Vernharð Magnússon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ymir Leifsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Grágás Vík's goal looked a bit too open when Max Níelsson came free, but Jeraldo Cameno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Hlöðver Orrason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emeryci's supporters rose to their feet, but Hlöðver Orrason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeraldo Cameno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Emeryci getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vígsteinn Indriðason hit a great ball. Hlöðver Orrason was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hlöðver Orrason came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jeraldo Cameno could save by the left post. Hlöðver Orrason might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeraldo Cameno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hlöðver Orrason ran back to his position shaking his head. Ymir Leifsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grágás Vík's Vernharð Magnússon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jeraldo Cameno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hlöðver Orrason in the 40th minute. Ymir Leifsson came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grágás Vík's Vernharð Magnússon. But to his dismay, Vernharð Magnússon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Max Níelsson made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Grágás Vík got a freekick which was hit by Vernharð Magnússon. In the 59th minute of the match, Vernharð Magnússon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ymir Leifsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guttormur Reimarsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Emeryci's goalkeeper Ymir Leifsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vernharð Magnússon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ymir Leifsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingberg Boðason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grágás Vík were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Emeryci's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urðar Ingmarsson took the corner. In the 69th match minute, Grágás Vík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guttormur Reimarsson to maneuver through the defense. Hlöðver Orrason struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jeraldo Cameno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emeryci. If Max Níelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, one of Grágás Vík:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Auðólfur Arndórsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Hlöðver Orrason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Grágás Vík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herjólfur Ottósson to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Kormákur Margrímsson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Grágás Vík's Jeraldo Cameno. Jeraldo Cameno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the game, Hlöðver Orrason was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emeryci's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grágás Vík the free kick. A collision led to Emeryci getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hlöðver Orrason hit a great ball. If Hlöðver Orrason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Grágás Vík were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Emeryci side.
