Farfa Blönduósi's Gauti Erlendsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Engilbjartur Hallsson in the 23rd minute of play. Engilbjartur Hallsson in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gauti Erlendsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Farfa Blönduósi's zone, Tobías Valbjörnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gauti Erlendsson came out of the goal and Tobías Valbjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Farfa Blönduósi's goalkeeper Gauti Erlendsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Engilbjartur Hallsson. In the 29th minute, Engilbjartur Hallsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gauti Erlendsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gauti Erlendsson was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Engilbjartur Hallsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Engilbjartur Hallsson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Engilbjartur Hallsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gauti Erlendsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Engilbjartur Hallsson ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Farfa Blönduósi's Gauti Erlendsson got control of the ball when Engilbjartur Hallsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gauti Erlendsson came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn's Engilbjartur Hallsson. But to his dismay, Engilbjartur Hallsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 48thth minute of the game Engilbjartur Hallsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farfa Blönduósi's Gauti Erlendsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Engilbjartur Hallsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gunnar Jökulsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gauti Erlendsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Engilbjartur Hallsson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gauti Erlendsson saved Farfa Blönduósi from getting behind. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Engilbjartur Hallsson sped through Farfa Blönduósi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gauti Erlendsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lúkas Guðbergsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúkas Guðbergsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gauti Erlendsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rdth minute of the game Engilbjartur Hallsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farfa Blönduósi's Gauti Erlendsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Engilbjartur Hallsson in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gauti Erlendsson saved Farfa Blönduósi from getting behind. Gauti Erlendsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Engilbjartur Hallsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Engilbjartur Hallsson struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gauti Erlendsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Engilbjartur Hallsson in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gauti Erlendsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Engilbjartur Hallsson sped through Farfa Blönduósi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gauti Erlendsson. A collision led to Farfa Blönduósi getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kjartan Játmundsson hit a great ball. When Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn's Engilbjartur Hallsson in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Farfa Blönduósi's goalie prevented a goal. Engilbjartur Hallsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tobías Valbjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn's Engilbjartur Hallsson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn's Einir Geislason got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Víkingur Æskulýðsskólinn had played much better football throughout.
