Eldar Geislason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patryk Rzentkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauti Erlendsson having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Uchiha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Báran Laugum's Patryk Rzentkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Friðbertsson made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ástgeir Snæsson immediately put the ball in play. Báran Laugum's Carlos Augusto Uchiha got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Báran Laugum got a freekick which was hit by Árgils Greipsson. After 22 played minutes, Farfa Blönduósi's Gretar Kolbeinsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valter Vilhjálmsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Farfa Blönduósi reached it. Eldar Geislason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauti Erlendsson having to interfere. Kjartan Játmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Vilhjálmsson having to interfere. Báran Laugum's Eldar Geislason got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eldar Geislason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Báran Laugum's supporters rose to their feet, but Eldar Geislason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gauti Erlendsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Báran Laugum's Patryk Rzentkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Rzentkowski in the 45th minute of play forced Farfa Blönduósi's goalkeeper Gauti Erlendsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjartan Játmundsson was the one to do the kick off. Árgils Greipsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Jóvin Jósafatsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Carlos Augusto Uchiha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Árgils Greipsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Augusto Uchiha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gauti Erlendsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Báran Laugum's Eldar Geislason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gauti Erlendsson. Gauti Erlendsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Patryk Rzentkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauti Erlendsson having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Patryk Rzentkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Báran Laugum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Carlos Augusto Uchiha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Farfa Blönduósi booed when Báran Laugum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Uchiha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Báran Laugum's Jóvin Jósafatsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gauti Erlendsson. Gauti Erlendsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Gauti Erlendsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eldar Geislason showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. In the 94th minute Árgils Greipsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gauti Erlendsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eldar Geislason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Báran Laugum played a much better game than Farfa Blönduósi and deserved their victory. The Farfa Blönduósi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
