After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hrærekur Hjaltason was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimmu Tröllin's Erlendur Karelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dagþór Franklínsson. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. In the 59th minute, Hersveinn Másson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Krawężnik przeszkodą w korzystaniu z garaży's Dagþór Franklínsson got control of the ball when Styrkár Erlingsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grimmu Tröllin's Ingvar Ívarsson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Hersveinn Másson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grimmu Tröllin were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Krawężnik przeszkodą w korzystaniu z garaży's much stronger midfield.
