The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Grágás Vík booed when Feiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Móses Freysson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeraldo Cameno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Hrafnsson in the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Grágás Vík defense, Örnólfur Hannesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeraldo Cameno. The Grágás Vík fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeraldo Cameno should have stopped the shot. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vernharð Magnússon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernharð Magnússon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Max Hrafnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feiko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Hrafnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brimi Hjaltason during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Feiko FC's Brimi Hjaltason got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vernharð Magnússon came free, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Grágás Vík's Háleygur Harðarsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Háleygur Harðarsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grágás Vík protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Háleygur Harðarsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 48th minute, one of Grágás Vík:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grágás Vík. In the 50th minute, the referee gave Feiko FC a penalty. Bjarnsteinn Oddbergsson looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Jeraldo Cameno.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Hrafnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Feiko FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Móses Freysson hit a great ball. Jeraldo Cameno came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Feiko FC's Örnólfur Hannesson. But to his dismay, Örnólfur Hannesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Guttormur Reimarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Max Hrafnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feiko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Hrafnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Örnólfur Hannesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jeraldo Cameno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grágás Vík's goalkeeper Jeraldo Cameno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feiko FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
