Max Hrafnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Hróason having to interfere. Baltasar Hróason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brimi Hjaltason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Þorgeir Heimisson put in a rough tackle. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Max Hrafnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feiko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Hrafnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Hróason breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes, Þiðrik Þengilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feiko FC and the Soldis Hrísey players grew even worse after the yellow card. Soldis Hrísey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loki Fannarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Max Hrafnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soldis Hrísey's Baltasar Hróason was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hrafn Sindrason. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Hrafnsson was the one to do the kick off. Baltasar Hróason didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Feiko FC's Max Hrafnsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Hrafn Sindrason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
