Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kolviður Eyþórsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kolviður Eyþórsson took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Feiko FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Flink Kópaskeri. Eldjárn Knútsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. 0-2. Örnólfur Hannesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Beinteinn Friðriksson made a huge save. Max Hrafnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beinteinn Friðriksson having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Flink Kópaskeri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daníel Georgsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Feiko FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flink Kópaskeri:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Flink Kópaskeri. Eldjárn Knútsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. 0-3. In the 38th minute, Max Hrafnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feiko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 41 minutes, Brimi Hjaltason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feiko FC and the Flink Kópaskeri players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flink Kópaskeri booed when Feiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brimi Hjaltason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feiko FC's Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kolviður Eyþórsson in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ellert Hinriksson in the 46th minute of play forced Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Feiko FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flink Kópaskeri were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Max Hrafnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beinteinn Friðriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örnólfur Hannesson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Beinteinn Friðriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Hrafnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Brimi Hjaltason notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Flink Kópaskeri's Beinteinn Friðriksson. Beinteinn Friðriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 minutes of play Feiko FC's Þiðrik Þengilsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Feiko FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Þiðrik Þengilsson hit a great ball. Feiko FC made a substitution. Hásteinn Ólason replaced Sölvi Dagfinnsson. After a rather tough play, Feiko FC's Þiðrik Þengilsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Max Hrafnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feiko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Hrafnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johan Hænsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beinteinn Friðriksson having to make a save. A collision led to Feiko FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hásteinn Ólason hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Móses Freysson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eldjárn Knútsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Feiko FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Max Hrafnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Flink Kópaskeri got a freekick which was hit by Daníel Georgsson. Hallgarður Jósafatsson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Feiko FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
