Jeraldo Cameno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Rzentkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vernharð Magnússon struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Valter Vilhjálmsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grágás Vík. After a defensive mix-up in Báran Laugum's zone, Vernharð Magnússon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Vilhjálmsson came out of the goal and Vernharð Magnússon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Garoa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Urðar Ingmarsson, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Carlos Augusto Uchiha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guttormur Reimarsson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ingberg Boðason kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Kiljan Loftsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jeraldo Cameno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Uchiha in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vernharð Magnússon to make the kick off. Grágás Vík's Jeraldo Cameno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eldar Geislason in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Vernharð Magnússon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grágás Vík's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Báran Laugum the free kick. After 58 played minutes Grágás Vík got a freekick which was hit by Vernharð Magnússon. Patryk Rzentkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After 72 minutes, Carlos Augusto Uchiha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Báran Laugum and the Grágás Vík players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grágás Vík booed when Báran Laugum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Uchiha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Vernharð Magnússon made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Báran Laugum's Valter Vilhjálmsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
