A collision led to Farfa Blönduósi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gretar Kolbeinsson hit a great ball. Feiko FC's Bjarnsteinn Oddbergsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Farfa Blönduósi. In the 8th minute, Kjartan Játmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ástgeir Snæsson's late challenge caught a Feiko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örnólfur Hannesson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gauti Erlendsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örnólfur Hannesson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gauti Erlendsson saved Farfa Blönduósi from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Kjartan Játmundsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farfa Blönduósi and the Feiko FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Farfa Blönduósi's zone, Örnólfur Hannesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gauti Erlendsson came out of the goal and Örnólfur Hannesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 minutes of play, Feiko FC's Örnólfur Hannesson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gauti Erlendsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Farfa Blönduósi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Feiko FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Hrafnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Max Hrafnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gauti Erlendsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Farfa Blönduósi's Gauti Erlendsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Hrafnsson in the 58th minute of play. Farfa Blönduósi's Gauti Erlendsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Farfa Blönduósi from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Max Hrafnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feiko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Hrafnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gauti Erlendsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Farfa Blönduósi booed when Feiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sölvi Dagfinnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gauti Erlendsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Hænsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Farfa Blönduósi's Ástgeir Snæsson got a free kick in the 85th minute.
