The penalty shot was made by Auðólfur Arndórsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flink Kópaskeri's Beinteinn Friðriksson. 0-1. Kormákur Margrímsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flink Kópaskeri's Beinteinn Friðriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kormákur Margrímsson in the 20th minute of play. Beinteinn Friðriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Níelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Hlöðver Orrason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emeryci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hlöðver Orrason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Max Níelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Beinteinn Friðriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Hlöðver Orrason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beinteinn Friðriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Flink Kópaskeri's goal looked a bit too open when Max Níelsson came free, but Beinteinn Friðriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ymir Leifsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hallgarður Jósafatsson in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Flink Kópaskeri's goal looked a bit too open when Max Níelsson came free, but Beinteinn Friðriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flink Kópaskeri's Beinteinn Friðriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Flink Kópaskeri from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Emeryci's Max Níelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beinteinn Friðriksson. That made the score 0-3 after 89 minutes of play. Emeryci's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
