With a little luck, Grimmu Tröllin's Hallfreður Brynjarsson got control of the ball when Vernharð Magnússon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kveldúlfur Oddbergsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hallfreður Brynjarsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hallfreður Brynjarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernharð Magnússon, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 93 played minutes Grimmu Tröllin got a freekick which was hit by Erlendur Karelsson. Hallfreður Brynjarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vernharð Magnússon's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Grimmu Tröllin's Erlendur Karelsson got a free kick in the 97th minute. If Vernharð Magnússon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grágás Vík were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
