Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Max Hrafnsson started the match with the kick off. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kolviður Eyþórsson in the 9th minute of play. Ellert Hinriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Hrafnsson in the 18th minute of play forced Flink Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Beinteinn Friðriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beinteinn Friðriksson came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Feiko FC's Max Hrafnsson. But to his dismay, Max Hrafnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kolviður Eyþórsson in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigurjón Guðlaugsson came free, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Þiðrik Þengilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feiko FC and the Flink Kópaskeri players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Feiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Þiðrik Þengilsson to maneuver through the defense. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kolviður Eyþórsson in the 40th minute of the match. When Eyjólfur Finnsson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flink Kópaskeri's protests and gave Eyjólfur Finnsson a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kolviður Eyþórsson to make the kick off. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellert Hinriksson in the 64th minute of the match. Örnólfur Hannessons short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Beinteinn Friðriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute Eyjólfur Finnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Hrafnsson in the 73rd minute of play forced Flink Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Beinteinn Friðriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Max Hrafnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feiko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Hrafnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feiko FC's Hásteinn Ólason was substituted for Sölvi Dagfinnsson. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flink Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Beinteinn Friðriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Flink Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Beinteinn Friðriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örnólfur Hannesson. When Eldjárn Knútsson fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flink Kópaskeri's protests and gave Eldjárn Knútsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Flink Kópaskeri got a freekick which was hit by Eldjárn Knútsson. After 91 played minutes, Feiko FC's Bjarnsteinn Oddbergsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beinteinn Friðriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Feiko FC reached it. Örnólfur Hannesson in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beinteinn Friðriksson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Beinteinn Friðriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Hrafnsson in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Feiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjarnsteinn Oddbergsson. In the 97th minute of the match Eldjárn Knútsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örnólfur Hannesson in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beinteinn Friðriksson saved Flink Kópaskeri from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Feiko FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flink Kópaskeri.
