Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guðbjartur Bergmansson got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Emeryci's Hlöðver Orrason nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vígsteinn Indriðason in the 7th minute of play. Sírus Oddmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ymir Leifsson having to interfere. If Kormákur Margrímsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hlöðver Orrason struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emeryci. 20 minutes into the match, Rafverk's goal looked a bit too open when Hlöðver Orrason came free, but Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Níelsson in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Emeryci's Hlöðver Orrason nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hlöðver Orrason, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Emeryci's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Franklínsson came free, but Ymir Leifsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vígsteinn Indriðason came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Emeryci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vígsteinn Indriðason couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes, Jónmundur Granason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafverk and the Emeryci players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Rafverk got a freekick which was hit by Jónmundur Granason. Max Níelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rafverk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emeryci were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Níelsson was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Rafverk's goalkeeper Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hlöðver Orrason. Max Níelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Emeryci's Max Níelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stanley Konráðsson's late challenge caught a Emeryci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanley Konráðsson helped the player get up and apologised. Hlöðver Orrason succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 67th playminute. After having played for 75 minutes, Hlöðver Orrason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emeryci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hlöðver Orrason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanley Konráðsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guðbjartur Bergmansson in the 90th minute of play forced Emeryci's goalkeeper Ymir Leifsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Níelsson in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Rafverk's goalkeeper Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hlöðver Orrason. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hlöðver Orrason in the 96th minute. Emeryci played a much better game than Rafverk and deserved their victory. The Rafverk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
