If Vernharð Magnússon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Grágás Vík's Vernharð Magnússon in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vernharð Magnússon came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson could save by the left post. When Vernharð Magnússon came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Grágás Vík fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vernharð Magnússon couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes in the game, Vernharð Magnússon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jörundur Sveinbjörnsson having to interfere.
