In the 16th minute, Mjölnir Vilmarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akranes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 20th minute, Szymon Milko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hervar Guðleifsson. The goal made the score 4-0. With an all-out effort, Akranes's Hervar Guðleifsson threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mjölnir Vilmarsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Akranes booed when Jets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knörr Guðfinnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akranes's Hulki Okyanus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hervar Guðleifsson but with some difficulty. 28 minutes into the game, Rubinho Salgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hervar Guðleifsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulki Okyanus got free with Hervar Guðleifsson in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Jets's goal looked a bit too open when Mjölnir Vilmarsson came free, but Hervar Guðleifsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37th play minutes Rubinho Salgado shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Hervar Guðleifsson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 42nd minute, Akranes's Mjölnir Vilmarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-0. Borgar Reyrsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubinho Salgado to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Rubinho Salgado made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jets's Hervar Guðleifsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hervar Guðleifsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Reyrsson in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Akranes's Rubinho Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hervar Guðleifsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After 59 minutes of play, Akranes's Hulki Okyanus made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hervar Guðleifsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hervar Guðleifsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mjölnir Vilmarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Abraham Reyrsson scored 12-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hervar Guðleifsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Jets's zone, Mjölnir Vilmarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hervar Guðleifsson came out of the goal and Mjölnir Vilmarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Hulki Okyanus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hervar Guðleifsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Rubinho Salgado put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hervar Guðleifsson. In the 70th minute, Hulki Okyanus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akranes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. 73 minutes into the match, Rubinho Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hervar Guðleifsson. Jets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubinho Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. Hervar Guðleifsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mjölnir Vilmarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Jets defense, Mjölnir Vilmarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hervar Guðleifsson. The Jets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hervar Guðleifsson should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Wiktor Rekowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Hervar Guðleifsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hervar Guðleifsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mjölnir Vilmarsson in the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Abraham Reyrsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akranes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 19-0. Hervar Guðleifsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Reyrsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Jets's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Rekowski came free, but Hervar Guðleifsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hervar Guðleifsson came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Akranes's Mjölnir Vilmarsson. But to his dismay, Mjölnir Vilmarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 20-0. Akranes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
