Rubinho Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Þór Karelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute, Rubinho Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akranes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 14th play minutes Rubinho Salgado shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Þór Karelsson and just under the crossbar into goal. When Akranes's Rubinho Salgado in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's goalie prevented a goal. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's Þór Karelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Rubinho Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Þór Karelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A hard shot 26 in the game by Rubinho Salgado from a close distance when the talented Þór Karelsson managed to make a qualified save. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's players were relieved. In the 27th minute of the match Akranes got a corner. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hulki Okyanus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Þór Karelsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Akranes's Rubinho Salgado shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Rubinho Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Þór Karelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bjarnlaugur Kalmannsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Þór Karelsson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Þór Karelsson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Akranes's Rubinho Salgado. But to his dismay, Rubinho Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 38thth minute of the game Rubinho Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's Þór Karelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Malvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Þór Karelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Þór Karelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Salgado in the 41st minute. Gaukur Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's goal looked a bit too open when Hulki Okyanus came free, but Þór Karelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Rubinho Salgado scored to the left of an out of position Þór Karelsson, making the score, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Rubinho Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Þór Karelsson was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Rubinho Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Þór Karelsson. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubinho Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Þór Karelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rubinho Salgado's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Rubinho Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emiriev Pawletko scored 10-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Þór Karelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Mjölnir Vilmarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Þór Karelsson. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mjölnir Vilmarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Þór Karelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Rubinho Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þór Karelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Akranes's Rubinho Salgado made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Þór Karelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82 minutes, Rubinho Salgado made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's Þór Karelsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Þór Karelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulki Okyanus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's Gaukur Hansson got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Hulki Okyanus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akranes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulki Okyanus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Þór Karelsson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Akranes's Mjölnir Vilmarsson. But to his dismay, Mjölnir Vilmarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. ⓘⓒⓔ ⓑⓐⓑⓨ's Þór Karelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Salgado in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Akranes's Rubinho Salgado made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Þór Karelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Akranes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
