The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Adolf Andrésson fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Æsir Ásgarðr's protests and gave Adolf Andrésson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Æsir Ásgarðr getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Adolf Andrésson hit a great ball. Þór Karelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guðvin Skúlason, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute.
