Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) Vasilije Đurić hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dragić Čonić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torda's supporters rose to their feet, but Dragić Čonić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Đorđe Markus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marinko Dabanović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Žabalj OFK's Marinko Dabanović in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torda's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 played minutes Žabalj OFK got a freekick which was hit by Krsman Vidljinović. Vlada Radenović, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Žabalj OFK's zone, Dušan Ikić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đorđe Markus came out of the goal and Dušan Ikić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Torda's Dragić Čonić dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dušan Ikić made the kick off in the second half. If Ignjatije Vilotijević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dušan Ikić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Torda's Svetislav Čairović seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Svetislav Čairović the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Torda protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Svetislav Čairović had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Žabalj OFK's Josif Golubović got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dragiša Tepavčević. If Ignjatije Vilotijević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragić Čonić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Đorđe Markus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Torda's goal looked a bit too open when Kojadin Lopičić came free, but Dragiša Tepavčević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Marinko Dabanović got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 92 minutes into the game, Željko Kukić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Žabalj OFK the free kick. The supporters of Žabalj OFK booed when Torda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Željko Kukić didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dragić Čonić came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Torda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragić Čonić couldn't finish the play.
