Novi Kneževac OFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Ignjatije Vilotijević scored to the left of an out of position Mirko Bogunović, making the score, 1-0. When Žabalj OFK's Marinko Dabanović, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Žabalj OFK. Tatomir Mićović charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tatomir Mićović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
